29 August 2016The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-
Edmond Daniel Linehan, trainer of Grandorio (Off Feed) - €200242A Giltspur Best Dressed Man M'dn H'dle
J.W. Kennedy, rider of Field Of Light (GB) trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount pulled up lame.
242D Emma Carswell & Darren King M'dn H'dleC.D. Maxwell, rider of Hazinowings trained by Dermot Anthony McLoughlin, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount lost its action, stopped quickly and pulled up.
242F Dr E F Logan OBE Memorial H'cap S'chaseThe Stewards requested a report from A.L.T.Moore, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Mitebeall Forluck (GB), placed first, as compared with its recent form. John Daniel Moore, authorised representative, stated that this horse ran too keen in Kilbeggan last time and settled better today. He also stated that he's an inconsistent sort. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the explanation offered.
